Garhwal Rifles- General Duty Soldier and Tradesmen recruitment 2015

Garhwal  Regiment, Lansdowne is going to recruit soldiers and Tradesman.

Note- recruitment is for special category, like children of war widows, National, International and state level players etc. (only for G.D candidates)

Educational qualification :-

a) For soldier G.D - minimum 10th pass with 45% marks in total with at least 33% in every subject.

b) Soldier tradesmen (musician and chef) - minimum 10th pass.

Age limit;-

a) soldier G.D - 17 Years and 6 months to 21 Years (between 1 July 1994 to 1 January 1998)

b) Soldier tradesmen - 17 Years and 6 months to 23 Years (between 1 July 1992 to 1 January 1998)

Recruitment Schedule:-

a)  Soldier G.D - 1st July 15 - for Chamoli and Uttarkashi Districts

b)  Soldier G.D - 2nd July 15 - for Tehri and Rudraprayag districts

c)  Soldier G.D - 3rd July 15 - for Pauri district

d)  Soldier G.D - 4th July 15 - for any state/union territory

e)  Soldier Tradesmen - 5th July 15 - for any state/union territory

f)  Soldier Tradesmen - 8th July 15 - Aptitude test

Garhwal Rifles Regimental center Lansdowne Pauri Garhwal is going to conduct a recruitment rally for the following cadre:

1- Soldier General Duty (GD) Garhwali

Dates of recruitments rally (physical test) for GD:

• 20^th May- for Chamoli and Uttarkashi
• 21^st May- for Tehri and Rudraprayag
• 22^nd May- for Pauri Garhwal
• 23^rd May- for any other state and Union Territories of India

2- Tradesman (Musician, Chef, Sports ER, Housekeeper, Dresser, Washerman, Artistic Woodwork)

• Musicians
• Chef (Tamil Nadu, Punjab, Bihar, UP, MP, Uttarakhand
• Sports ER and Housekeeper (Karnataka, Andhra, Jharkhand, Chhatisgarh, UP Faridabad and Gurgaon)

Dates of recruitments for Tradesman: 24^th May, 2013

Time of reporting: Between 6-8 am

Educational qualification for GD: Minimum 10^th Pass with 45% marks. But for further educated (BA, MA, BCom etc) this criteria do not apply.

Educational qualification for Tradesman: Minimum 10^th Pass. And for housekeeper (8^th pass)

Age limit for GD: 17.5 to 21 years (Born between 20^th November 1995 to 20 May, 1992)

Age limit for Tradesman: 17.5 to 23 years (Born between 24^th November 1995 to 24^th May, 1990)

Date of trade test for Tradesman: 27^th May, 2013

Admit card: 22^nd July 2013

Written test with negative marking: 28^th July, 2013

Who can apply?

• Children of war widows
• In service man/Gaurav Senani, son of martyr soldiers (killed in war)
• In service man/Gaurav Senani, brothers of martyr soldiers
• National/international players who could achieve first or second positions at state level (for GD only)

Documents to be carried with you:

1. Educational certificates,
2. Domicile certificate issued by SDM/DM/Tehsildar,
3. Character certificate issued within 6 months by SDM/DM/Sarpanch/Principal/Gazetted Officer,
4. Relationship certificate,
5. 15 passport size Photo with one negative,
6. A group family photo which must be attached to the back of character certificate and testified by the Gram Pradhan,
7. If unmarried carry affidavit in this regard (for less than 21 year old)
