Uttarakhand police require candidates from state of Uttarakhand (registered in the employment exchange) for the following posts:

1- Radio Anurakshan Adhikari or Radio Maintenance Officer (RMO) - 12posts

Selection procedure- An objective type written test (with 25% of negative marking) followed by the physical test.

Written test will contain:

1-General knowledge- 40marks

2-Reasoning- 20 marks

3-General Science- 30 marks (it will be of high school level for sahayak parichalak and B.Sc. level for the other two posts).

Note- candidate will have to execute a bond for regular service of minimum 5 years in case of selection for the appointment. And candidate will get stipend during the training period.

Important- candidate has to submit the filled application by hand (no registered or speed post) form along with the filled format given in Annexure-a or anulagnak-k (given in the last of the advertisement detail) by 4^th of January, 2011 in superintendent of police office of any district of the state.

RECRUITMENT CENTERS- Uttarkashi, Tehri Garhwal, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pauri Garhwal, Dehradun, Haridwar, Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Pithoragarh, Nainital, and Udhamsingh Nagar

BASIC REQUIREMENT-

1.)  Domicile of Uttarakhand (Registration in employment exchange of Uttarakhand). But remember that the registration done after the date of the advertisement will not be accepted.               

 2.) 10th pass from any recognized Board. Or

 3.) Must Passed in 6 subjects from National Open School.  

 4.) For Ex-Army persons-.10th pass or First class Army pass out.    

AGE LIMITS:-For General- 18 to 22 years (Date of Birth should fall between 1-7-1989 to 1-7-1993)          

 5 years of age relaxation for Schedule Caste (SC)/Schedule Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes. (OBC)                     

RECRUITMENT PROCESS-First Step- Physical Fitness Test of 100 marks (start from11th  November 2011) 

Only those who qualify the first step with minimum marks of 50 or above would be called for 

Second Step- Written Test of 100 marks (general awreness-70 marks, general Hindi-30 marks) where there will be negative marking of 0.25% or 1/4^th. 

            

 EXAMINATION FEES (By means of Government treasury challan) - GEN/OBC Candidates- Rs. 60, for SC/ST Candidates-Rs.15.

What may be called high-handedness of police or the mindset of the petty small time politician that they are above laws..
There seems to be both. many time it is seen that small time politicians used to act in rude manner and show themselves above the law and order. This icidence also turning out to be the same. During the traffic jam policemen were doing there duty. And this politician’s car was creating the jam situation on the busy road. Further the person traveling with the politician e.g. the driver was also seemed to be overproud of himself as driver of a politician. Result was just reshuffling of officers and tainted policemen being tried for their behaviour. But what about that politician? police should have shown the necessary restraint but that there is urgent need of proper behaviour from these politician.
