Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test (USET) 2024

New update- admit card available for download

Kumaun University Nainital is going to conduct USET after a long time. A State Eligibility Exams (SET) like USET or any other such exams are conducted on the line of UGC NTA or CSIR tests. Passing of these tests make you eligible for the assistant professorship in various colleges and universities of the concerned state only.

Important information-

1.       Last date fees submission- 18^th of dec

2.       Online apply- 20^th dec

3.       Date of exam (expected)- 7^th jan

4.       Can an outside of the state candidate apply for this USET exam of Uttarakhand - Yes

What is the syllabus for the exam- As same as CSIR NET for science subjects and As same as UGC NTA NET exam for the humanities subject.

What is the difficulty level of the USET exam- based on the previous experience it is Less difficult than the UGC NTA NET or CSIR NET

Steps to be followed in filling the form-

Download and read information brochure

Register yourself by filling various details

After registering candidate will get Application ID or Registered ID in the mobile number and email id provided by the candidate while registering himself /herself.

Now candidate can login by using this Application ID or Registered ID and password created during registering oneself

After login candidate have fill online fee through SBI collect window

After successful payment, verification of fees a fee receipt should be downloaded and kept safely for future reference.

Now after few hours of fee verification login again to check the status of the form and if it shows fill form status, then you can proceed for filling up of application form

Application form will be filled in 5 steps:- Personal information, Address, Qualification Preferences, Photo – 4 KB to 40 KB & Sign – 4KB to 30 KB, Bank Details

And then confirm and preview

Lastly final submit and print filled up application form

UGC NET for JRF and Lectureship June 2014 notification and other information

UGC has come out with the notification for the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 29^th of June 2014.

New schedule for the application of the UGC NET June 2014 exam is as follow:

Date for Applying Online & generation of filled Bank Challan for Fee. 5^th May

Date of submission of Fee through online generated Bank Challan, at any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). 7^th May

Last date of taking printout of Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admit Card: 10^th May

Date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (one copy) and Attendance Slip (one copy) at the respective Coordinating University opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s): 15^th May, 2014

How to apply:

Fill the online form then take print of challan and submit the fees in SBI branch. Come to the website again after two days and fill the entries of the receipt of the fees in the website and generate the application form with the attendance sheet and the admit card.

Send the application form to University.

Paste a photo on the admit card and get it attested by Gazetted officer.

Note- you have to send following things to the concerned university not UGC office:

1- One copy of application form

2- One copy of attendance sheet

3- One challan copy

4- Caste certificate (if any)

5- Age proof (if you are claiming it)

Doon University (75) and Kumaun University (76) and HNB Garhwal University (54) are coordinating Universities.

No need to send the copy of admit card.

Center of exam, Seating arrangement and other details will be published late on.

Last date of fee submission: 2^nd November 2013

Last date of taking printout of the application form, attendance slip and admit card: 5^th November 2013

Last date for receiving the printout of online Application Form (one copy) and attendance Slip (one copy) at the respective Coordinating University opted by the candidate (with fee receipt & category certificate(s) ):9^th November 2013

Fees: 450 (Gen), 225 (OBC), 110 (SC, ST, PWD)

Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) Roorkee is one of the top notch research institute of the of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates.

Eligibility criteria:

For Ph.D. (Science): Master’s degree in Earth Science (Geology / Geophysics) or Chemistry ( Inorganic / organic / polymer) or Master’s degree in Material Science with specialization in corrosion science having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies, e.g. CSIR, UGC, DBT, DST etc.), INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships.

For Ph.D. (Engineering): A Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology ( Civil – Structural , Geotechnical, Mechanical – Machine Dynamics) or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology ( Chemical / Metallurgical) with M.Tech in corrosion Science / engineering with a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR NET/NBHM or valid CSIR-SRF or equivalent fellowship.

Candidates need to apply online from April 18, 2013
