CBRI admission: PhD in branches of Science and Engineering 2013

Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) Roorkee is one of the top notch research institute of the of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), invites applications for Ph.D. Programme under Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) from eligible candidates.

Eligibility criteria:

For Ph.D. (Science): Master’s degree in Earth Science (Geology / Geophysics) or Chemistry ( Inorganic / organic / polymer) or Master’s degree in Material Science with specialization in corrosion science having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies, e.g. CSIR, UGC, DBT, DST etc.), INSPIRE or other equivalent fellowships.

For Ph.D. (Engineering): A Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology ( Civil – Structural , Geotechnical, Mechanical – Machine Dynamics) or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology ( Chemical / Metallurgical) with M.Tech in corrosion Science / engineering with a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR NET/NBHM or valid CSIR-SRF or equivalent fellowship. 

Process of application:

Candidates need to apply online from April 18, 2013

Last date of online application: May 23, 2013.

Uttarakhand Technical University, A State Technical University located in Dehradun, is going to conduct the entrance exam for admission in professional courses under various colleges of Uttarakhand affiliated to UTU, Dehradun for the session 2013-14.

Courses and the seats available:

1- MCA

2- B.Pharma

3- B.Pharma IInd year (lateral entry)

4- B. Tech IInd year (lateral entry); seats depends upon the second year admissions

5- Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) 1^st year

Entrance Exam information brochure and application fees: 1040 (General/OBC) and 540 (SC/ST). You can also download the form from the website and then send it with the Demand draft of amount 1000 or 500 for respective categories.

Availability of the application forms: Starts on 10^th April, 2013 from the designated post offices of the Uttarakhand, and main post office of Delhi.

Last date of submission: 15^th May, 2013.

Exam date: 24^th May, 2013

Examination centers: 8 centers in Uttarakhand and one center in Delhi.

After a long delay the information brochure is available regarding the JEEP exam 2013 in Uttarakhand.

Uttarakhand Board of Technical education, Roorkee (UBTER) is going to conduct the Joint entrance exam polytechnic JEEP-2013 from 12^th to 14^th of May,2013 for admissions in government polytechnic colleges, Govt. aided polytechnic colleges and private polytechnic colleges of Uttarakhand in the under mentioned courses-

1-Diploma in engineering (group-E)

2- Hotel Management and catering Technology (group-H)

3- Pharmacy (group-p)

4- Textile Design, Garment Technology, Fashion design (group-T)

5- PG diploma in computer applications (group-G)

6- Modern Office Management and Secretarial Practice (group-M)

7- Lateral Entry into the 2^nd year of the Engineering courses (group-A)

Age: no age limit

Total seats: 13154

Date of Exam:

Group E/P- 12^th May, 2013

Group H/M- 13^th May, 2013

Group G/T/A 14^th May, 2013

Entrance Exam form fees: 450 (General/OBC) and 250 (SC/ST)

Note- candidates from out of the state can also apply but they have to buy the form as mentioned in the advertisement.

Last date of submission: 31^st March at UBTER office by 5pm or at the Polytechnic institutions.
