Well there is a good news in the official notification itself. All BEd trained can apply for both paper especially for the UTET-I because the eligibility for the BEd trainees for the appointment as the Primary Teacher has been extended till 31 March 2016.
So one can hope for another recruitment of Primary teachers through the VBTC in 2015-16. However that will depend upon the will power of the government and the lobby that can put enough pressure on them to come with the jobs !

Though the previous Samuh-g posts are still being filled,
new group-c recruitment has also arrived.
Three advertisements appeared on three dates - 9th,
10th and 11th February 2014 and some modification in
advertisement was published on 12th of February 2014.
Vacancies are scattered among different departments and in
different numbers. Backlog posts are also there. It seems that something is
there for everyone but in small quantity. You will have to really look
through the detail advertisement of Samuh-"Ga" 2014 for the post you
are eligible and suitable for.
Age- 18 or 21-40
years (as on 1st January 2014)
Minimum qualification-
12th Pass/graduation/technical diploma/B.Ed and other as the case
may be.
Fees- no fees
have to be paid.
Note-
registration in employment exchange of Uttarakhand is must
Apply separately for different posts otherwise form will be
rejected.
No supporting documents to be sent with the form.
Keep the receipt of post and the photocopy of the filled
form for future reference.
Selection procedure-
Objective type written test and proficiency test (if required as typing, steno
etc.)

Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) Dehradun had
conducted entrance exam for its B.Ed Course 2012-13 in August 2012 for around
2600 seats. (Click

Out of 1350
candidates who took the entrance exam 850 were successful and finally 450
students were willing to take admission out of them. These were sent to
different colleges after counseling by the University.
But then some 26 more B.Ed. colleges affiliated to the UTU were
reeling with problem of vacant seats. As newly opened self financed B.Ed.
colleges are more for making money then anything else they resorted to giving
admission to the extra 1500 candidates who had not gone through the entrance
exam.
As per the policy they cannot give admission without
entrance exam.
Government machinery after getting up from sleep, as usual,
now invalidated those 1500 admissions. Now those new students are in lurch.
Colleges are saying that they have informed the authorities
about their extra admissions without the entrance exam. And even prepared for
the second entrance exam after taking permission from the NCTE to fill up the
vacant B.Ed. seats of the UTU.
Now the colleges and the authorities are locking horns and
showing their own importance but what about those candidates?
Some unconfirmed reports also said those colleges were
giving admissions on basis of the HNB
Garhwal University
So by their self made rule or whatever you want to say
that one can get admission in UTU B.Ed. on basis of Garhwal University
Now when whole thing is getting messed up, it is clear that
that rumor was true and many students might be caught in the trap.
Colleges may not acknowledge this publicly. But it happened.
But the fact is what
about future of those candidates.

Note- if you are not able to gain enough marks to get admitted in the government colleges then for admission in other B.Ed. colleges including private colleges you will have to visit the college yourself and contact the college or check the newspaper ads of various colleges from time to time to take admission. They will give admission on first come and first served and merit basis.
Please remember that minimum qualifying mark for B.Ed. entrance exam – 80 marks in each paper for general category and 54 marks in each paper for others.
In simple terms if you are above the minimum marks and any college has vacant seat available after giving admissions to the candidates with higher marks as compared to you, then you can apply for admission there. You can or rather you should apply in multiple colleges for admission depending upon the availability of seats there to maximize the chance of getting admission.

As result B.Ed. entrance exam -2010-11 of Garhwal University is already declared,
There would be mad rush for the admission in B.Ed. colleges.
So if you are going to take admission in any of B.Ed. colleges in Uttarakhand then you should be aware of these points.
Most of the colleges are may be affiliated to HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar but to your dismay they may not have approval to run the B.Ed. course from the main central governing body called National Council for Teacher Education or NCTE.(And which is the most necessary requirement for such professional courses).

NOTE- NCTE also updates their website after some delay and asks viewers to check the gazette notification.
According to new ruling of NCTE the approval of course in the colleges is renewed every year. So if the college had approval earlier they must secure the latest approval letter for new session.
So if you have enough courage (which you must have for your own future) then ask the college officials to show you the letter of approval or the official gazette notification. Or ask them what they are doing from their side to get the much required NCTE approval.

However things are going on as such for the last three years and nothing serious happened. And if something happens then student’s future is likely to suffer. So why not be on a safer side right from the beginning. Tell other friends or person known to you about this issue so that they may take the good decision.
